Open Source Networking Day recap

The recent Open Source Networking Day (OSN Day) Bay Area was an excellent (and free) event where we were all able to find out more about what our colleagues are doing in networking and open source.

One of the presentations I enjoyed most was by a senior architect at China Mobile, which explained how their team created their own next generation network with three decoupled layers of custom white-box hardware, SDN, and automated network management.
